01. Atlanta Falcons (Trade With Houston Texans) - Jadaveon Clowney, DE, South Carolina
Makes sense, the 4th round pick is the deal sweetener as its basicly a top 100 pick (extra value in a deep draft), Houston can get a R1 next year and still get a QB at 6. Falcons GM and Owner have never been scared to be bold.
ATL gets R1-1
HOU gets R1-6, R2-37, R4-103 & R1-2015
02. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Trade With St Louis Rams) - Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M
With reports the Jaguars have settled on Johnny Football, St Louis finally has the leverage to squeeze an extra pick out of Tampa Bay. Tampa will likely will get a 3rd round pick for Mike Glennon so they feel its worth trading up with a talent rich roster that desperately needs stability at QB. With Josh McCown already in town, Johnny doesn't need to shoulder all of the QB duties. From the Rams perspective, you have to flip this pick, the value of the pick exceeds the need to draft this high. This gives them a R1 next year and the liquidity to literally move into wherever they want to get multiple targets.
TB gets R1-2
STL gets R1-8, R2-38, R5-143 & R1-2015
03. Detroit Lions (Trade With Jacksonville Jaguars) - Sammy Watkins, WR Clemson
Jaguars scramble to trade after Tampa Bay gets in their way. I believe they value Bridgewater and Bortles closely and don't feel they need to force it here. They get reasonable value for a trade developed while the the pick is on the clock. Detroit moves up and gets the guy they want. Aggressive move by new coaching staff.
DET gets R1-3
JAC gets R1-10, R2-45, R4-111 & R2-2015
04. Cleveland Browns - Khalil Mack, OLB Buffalo
I'd trade the pick but its gonna be tough to find another team that wants to move up for one of the OTs and pay top dollar to move, in the end, they stay put and take the highest rated player left on the board.
05. Oakland Raiders - Greg Robinson, OT Auburn
Raiders want to trade out until Robinson falls into their lap. Slam dunk pick here, fills a need and is most likely a top 3 rated player on their overall board. Greg Robinson is day one starter and should continue to do so for years to come.
TRADE:
SF gets R1-13
STL gets R1-30, R2-61, R2-2015
06. San Francisco 49ers (Trade With Houston Texans) - Mike Evans, WR Texas A&M
49ers have so many picks and so little roster space, they move up to 13 to be able to slide up far enough to get Mike Evans. Impact receiver and gives them chance to move Anquan Boldin inside. Texans move back and accumulate more picks.
SF gets R1-6
HOU gets R1-13, R2-56, R3-77
07. St Louis Rams (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) - Jake Matthews, OT Texas A&M
Just to recap, the Rams got an extra 1st and 2nd Round picks in 2015 and two additional 2nd Round picks this year. Still get an elite OT here. This empasizes how smart it would be for them to trade out of the 2 spot.
08. Minnesota Vikings - CJ Mosley, ILB Alabama
Blake Bortles is certainly going to be considered, however in the end, Mike Zimmer needs a young leader to build around on defense.
09. Buffalo Bills - Taylor Lewan, OT Michigan
Unable to trade up to get Matthews they take a solid plan B in Lewan. Should give EJ Manuel some stability up front.
10. Philadelphia Eagles (Jacksonville Jaguars) - Odell Beckham, Jr, WR LSU
Eagles been planning this move for awhile, natural replacement for Desean Jackson. Really should have taken Gilbert in my opinion.
PHI gets R1-10
JAC gets R1-22, R2-54 & R3-2015
11. Tennessee Titans - Blake Bortles, QB Central Florida
No secret the Jake Locker era is coming to an end, Bortles falls right into Ken Wisenhut's lap. Strong comparisons between Blake and Big Ben make me believe they are thrilled he's here at 11.
12. New York Giants - Zach Martin, OT Notre Dame
Giants desperate for help upfront and too conservative to move up to get Lewen in the 8 spot. Nevertheless they are happy with Martin who will be expected to start right away.
13. Houston Texans (From San Francisco Through St Louis) - Teddy Bridgewater, QB Louisville
Texans get the guy they wanted anyways and stock piled a ton of picks. They collect two 2's, a 3 & a 4, plus a 2015 1st round pick.
14. Chicago Bears - Justin Gilbert, CB Oklahoma State
Lock down corner helps out a depleted secondary. Aaron Donald gets consideration here.
15. Pittsburgh Steelers - Kyle Fuller, CB Virgina Tech
Anyone under the age of 30 please. Also thinking about Dennard here, I think Fuller has slipped above him on alot of draft boards.
16. Dallas Cowboys - Calvin Pryor, S Louisville
Cowboys need someone to set the tone on defense. Pryor can give them some help in the middle of the field.
17. Baltimore Ravens - Ha-Ha Clinton Dix, S Alabama
Ravens get some help on their leaky back end. Could be a spot for someone to move up and get David Carr with concerns that Arizona may draft him.
18. New York Jets - Marqise Lee, WR, USC
Geno Smith gets a weapon. Rex Ryan wants to go defense but Lee adds some depth at WR.
19. Jacksonville Jaguars (Trade With Miami Dolphins) - Derek Carr, QB Houston
Jaguars lose out on Manziel, they trade back hoping to get Bridgewater and instead now have to trade back ahead of Arizona to get Derek Carr.
JAC gets R1-19 & R3-81
MIA gets R1-22, R3-70 & R4-111
20. Arizona Cardinals - Eric Ebron, TE North Carolina
With 4 QBs gone already, Arizona considers moving back however can't find a dance partner, instead they add a weapon at TE, a position which certainly needed an upgrade.
21. Green Bay Packers - Anthony Barr, OLB, UCLA
Packers get a guy they would have rated at least 5 spots ahead of where they are picking. Fills a need and is a great value pick.
22. Miami Dolphins (From Jacksonville Through Philadelphia) - Xavier Su'a-Filo, OG, UCLA
They want to move back, however theres a threat of Kansas City looking at him very favorably.
23. Kansas City Chiefs - Brandin Crooks, WR Oregon State
Andy Reid was hoping for one of the QBs to fall and be able to parlay a move down or two. However, he stays put and gets the speedster WR he loves to employ in his scheme.
24. Cincinatti Bengals - Bradley Roby, CB Ohio State
One of the tougher picks to predict, they are soft in some areas, but not terrible in any areas.
Worst case scenario Roby is a solid nickel corner.
25. San Diego Chargers - Aaron Donald, DT Pittsburgh
The fall of Donald ends here and solidifies a revamped Chargers D.
26. Cleveland Browns (Indianapolis Colts) - Kelvin Benjamin, WR Florida State
They will consider reaching badly for a 2nd round QB here. Stupid if they do with R2-35 less then 10 picks away. Benjamin adds a weapon for Brian Hoyer/ (Drafted QB), his size and athletic ability jump off the screen.
27. New Orleans Saints - Darqueze Dennard, CB, Michigan State
Saints get a good corner and some help on the back end.
28. Carolina Panthers - Jordan Matthews, WR Vanderbilt
Cam Newton will be pleased.
29. New England Patriots - Allen Robinson, WR Penn State
Tom Brady will be pleased.
30. St Louis Rams (San Fransisco 49ers) - Jace Amaro, TE Texas Tech
Missed the run on WR's, take a TE instead.
31. Denver Broncos - Jason Verrett, CB TCU
Chris Harris ACL injury, Champ Bailey's departure, this is a logical move.
32. Seattle Seahawks - Joel Bitonio, OT Nevada
Versatle lineman can play OT or OG. Good system fit.
SECOND ROUND
33. Houston Texans - Cyrus Koundijo, OT Alabama
34. Washington Redskins - Jimme Ward, S Northern Illinois
35. Cleveland Browns - AJ McCarron, QB Alabama
36. Oakland Raiders - Davante Adams, WR Fresno St
37. Houston Texans (Atlanta Falcons) - Austin Seferian Jenkins, TE Washington
38. St Louis Rams (Tampa Bay Buccanneers) - Martavius Bryant, WR Clemson
39. Jacksonville Jaguars - Ryan Shazier, OLB Ohio State
40. Minnesota Vikings - Tom Savage, QB Pittsburgh
41. Buffalo Bills - Donte Moncrief, WR Ole Miss
42. Tennessee Titans - Carlos Hyde, RB Ohio State
43. New York Giants - Jarvis Landry, WR LSU
44. St Louis Rams - Stephon Tuitt, DE Notre Dame
45. Jacksonville Jaguars (Detroit Lions) - Louis Nix, III, DT Notre Dame
46. Pittsburgh Steelers - Ra'Shede Hageman, DT Minnesota
47. Dallas Cowboys - Demarcus Lawrence, DE Boise St
48. Baltimore Ravens - Cody Latimer, WR Indiana
49. New York Jets - Gabe Jackson, OG Miss St
50. Miami Dolphins - Ja'Wuan James, OT Tennessee
51. Chicago Bears - Deonne Buchannon, S Wash St
52. Arizona Cardinals - Jimmy Garrapolo, QB Eastern Illinois
53. Green Bay Packers - Antonio Richardson, OT Tennessee
54. Jacksonville Jaguars (Philadelphia Eagles) - Bruce Ellington, WR South Carolina
55. Cincinatti Bengals - Kony Ealy, DE Missouri
56. Houston Texans (From San Francisco 49ers Through Kansas City) - Dee Ford, DE Alabama
57. San Diego Chargers - David Yankey, OG Stanford
58. New Orleans Saints - Jeremiah Attaochu, OLB Georgia Tech
59. Indianapolis Colts - Tre Mason, RB Auburn
60. Carolina Panthers - Jack Mewhort, OT Ohio St
61. St Louis Rams (San Francisco 49ers) - Zach Mettenberger, QB LSU
62. New England Patriots - Stanley Jean Baptiste, CB Nebraska
63. Denver Broncos - Kyle Van Noy, OLB BYU
64. Seattle Seahawks - Dominique Easley, DT Florida
